#Uncle Tom's
Every first week of February going to Jaro, Iloilo for the Candelaria is sort of an annual thing for my mom and I. And this year was no different from the other years (including taking home loads of JD Bakeshop stuff. Hehe.)
Uncle Tom's was one of the restaurants in Jaro that I haven't tried dining in. So I was bugging my mom to go eat there. Imagine us, walking from the place we stayed in (2 blocks away from the Jaro Cathedral) to Uncle Tom's with my phone on hand, because I was using my Google Maps to locate it.
That's my mom, very very stressed. She doesn't want to order so I did the choosing myself. Haha.
Baby Back Ribs for me. the coleslaw was so-so.
Breaded Fish Fillet for my mom, which she particularly liked. I love the food presentation.Uncle Tom's had sort of an old-world feel, so I like the ambiance of the place. Although I think their service is a bit slow. There weren't that much customers when we came in but our orders came in after 30 minutes or so, you get the point, right? The prices of the food isn't that much to complain about since it was reasonable.
Uncle Tom's is located in 158 Ledesma Street Jaro, Iloilo and they have another branch along the Diversion Road in Mandurriao.
