#eating in

Rather than spending the Saturday night out drinking on my day off from work, (as boring as I am) I'd rather spend it at home. Well, still drinking, watching a dvd and on my laptop and in my pambahay clothes. Talk about comfort and chill in my own terms.

Meet my "pulutan"...

Greenwich's onion rings and pizza fries with salsa dip and tartar sauce. It cost me less than 150 pesos, which is rather inexpensive.

My choice of alcoholic drink: Vodka Cruiser in Blueberry. Buying it in a bar would cost you from 150 - 200 pesos, I bought mine for only 73 pesos, thanks to SM.

Now who says you can't have fun on a Saturday night at home?

#Aida's Manokan

A spur of the moment decision for my Mama and I today since we were about to eat lunch at 1 something in the afternoon or so: eat chicken inasal and lots of rice in Manokan Country.

Now Manokan Country is a strip of stalls and each stall serves their own version of chicken inasal but  we chose to eat in Aida's Manokan.

It's situated right in the middle of all the stalls but definitely not hard to miss. Yes, the place is small and it gets crowded; and No, it doesn't have airconditioning, just a few wall fans -- so don't expect fine dining here.

#Mooon Cafe

Spent the lazy Sunday afternoon with my friends, Jude and Marian at the Robinsons' Central City Walk and where else do we eat?

You guessed it right. Mooon Cafe (with the unecessary too many O's. HAHA.) which serves Tex-Mex cuisine coupled with waiters and waitresses dressed in traditional Mexican outfits and blaring Latin American music that you can't help but tap your fingers in rhythm to the music.
