#Mooon Cafe

Spent the lazy Sunday afternoon with my friends, Jude and Marian at the Robinsons' Central City Walk and where else do we eat?

You guessed it right. Mooon Cafe (with the unecessary too many O's. HAHA.) which serves Tex-Mex cuisine coupled with waiters and waitresses dressed in traditional Mexican outfits and blaring Latin American music that you can't help but tap your fingers in rhythm to the music.

Jude patiently waiting for the food to arrive.

Marian is her usual self -- happy kid. lol.

Me and my haggard slash just got off from work look.

Okay. The food. I totally suck at criticizing food and how edible it is because for me "Tanan manamit." or in English, loosely translates to "Everything tastes good." HAHA.

Onion rings as appetizer. It wasn't the best onion rings I've tasted but the peppery and spicy dip was just enough to give me a kick in the mouth. The moon shaped stand was quite quirky no?

I forgot what this pasta's name was (I know. I should have written it down somewhere.) but one thing's for sure. This is a Kung Pao Chicken Pasta - complete with the oriental spicy sauce, red and green bell peppers, spring onions, roasted peanuts, chicken and gambas.

Ah, a chimichanga. No Mooon Cafe visit wouldn't be complete without eating a chimichanga. Basically, it's the same as any chimichanga would be, a fried burrito at that. One comment though, they should make this dish bigger. Enough said.

Fish tacos. The tortilla has enough crisp and the tomatoes and vegetables were as crispy as well. If you want a healthier alternative for tacos, this one's a good bet.

Mooon Cafe is located in Robinsons' Central City Walk. It's mostly packed with customers so it's easy to spot and a fair warning though, you have to wait for a few minutes to get a table -- might as well reserve ahead of time.

#Happy eating!
